Train Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Train Manager to join our team at Great Western Railway. As a Train Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trains, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for our passengers.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver a world-class customer experience throughout the journey
- Manage the safety and operational activities of the train
- Check and sell tickets, providing information and assistance as required
- Ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment is maintained
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to new situations
- Experience of front-line customer service and supervisory experience
- Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team

Basic Rate of Pay
The basic rate of pay during your training is £30,580 and this rises to a basic rate of £44,342 once you are productive.
