Senior Care Practitioner

About the Role:
As a Senior Care Practitioner at Sandstone Care Group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will work in a supervisory or leadership role and be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, meals, and daily activities
- Administer medication in accordance with care plans and ensure accurate documentation
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents
- Help residents lead fulfilling lives, respecting their hobbies, preferences, and abilities
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety within the care home
- Take on senior responsibilities, including staff supervision, appraisals, record-keeping, and coordinating with external professionals

Requirements:
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential or nursing care home
- A positive attitude and compassionate personality
- A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or a willingness to work towards it
- Proficiency in record-keeping and comfort with technology
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and guide team members effectively
- Flexibility to accommodate varying shift patterns based on residents' needs
