Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Waste Collection Specialist to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a Waste Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining allocated vehicles, transporting goods and personnel, and assisting with the loading and unloading of waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and maintain allocated vehicles, including routine checks and maintenance.
  • Transport goods and personnel, and assist with the loading and unloading of waste.
  • Complete and return all relevant paperwork daily to the supervisor and report non-collection and reasons.
  • Update in-cab technology with non-collection and reasons.
  • Collect waste from streets and roads, following the specified schedule and ensuring all waste is collected safely and properly.
  • Ensure crews collect assisted collections on stated days.

Requirements

  • NVQ 2 in waste management or equivalent.
  • Experience of driving refuse or recycling vehicles.
  • Current HGV licence.
  • Experience of completing daily log sheets and tachograph books.
