Job Title: Dementia Care Assistant Wanted

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dementia Care Assistant. The successful candidate will provide support and care to a 68-year-old man with dementia and epilepsy in Scunthorpe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day activities to promote independence
  • Aid with appointments and outings, including museum visits
  • Provide support with personal care, including prompting for self-care
  • Work on a rota basis, with full or part-time hours available
  • Include every other Saturday sleep-in and 12-hour shifts during the week
Requirements:
  • Willingness to undergo DBS process
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
