We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technologist Associate Practitioner to join our Radiation Protection and Imaging Physics section in Medical Physics at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will provide scientific and technical support to various clinical services within NHS Lothian & NHS Fife.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to medical equipment and fault finding
- Develop and maintain accurate records using various software tools
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the day-to-day running of the service
- Support a range of clinical technical work related to ionising and non-ionising imaging equipment
- SCQF level 8 qualification in a physics or engineering discipline
- Experience of medical equipment and fault finding (desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to work effectively within a team and maintain accurate records
