Trainee Branch Manager Opportunity

Steamatic Horsham/Grampians is a family-owned business that specializes in disaster restoration and recovery services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Trainee Branch Manager.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic professional to work closely with our Ballarat Director, providing comprehensive training and support. As a Trainee Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and costing jobs
  • Leading small crews
  • Carrying out work on the tools
  • Scheduling and supervising work
  • Liaising with clients
  • Networking and developing business relationships

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A can-do attitude with a solutions-driven personality
  • Computer literacy – all work is driven by our proprietary software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to ensure jobs are assessed, scheduled, and managed within budget and time specifications
  • Confidence and ability to deal with a diverse range of people and to have empathy in every situation
  • Able to accept some occasional "away from home" assignments
  • Lateral thinking and skillset to see tasks through to completion
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Some flexibility regarding hours – standard hours Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional after-hours and weekend work
  • A Police Check & Working with Children's Check (WWC)
  • Current White Card
  • The right to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo drug and alcohol testing
