About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Group, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional care to our patients.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a diverse population of children and adolescents, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and psychology teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Engage in governance activities to maintain high standards of care
- Adhere to Priory policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements

Working with Priory Group provides the opportunity to grow your private practice, working in a supportive and experienced team within one of the largest mental health providers in the UK.
Sessional working offers flexibility, allowing you to work on a private basis as a Visiting Consultant, with full Practice Privileges to supply outpatient services on a per-appointment/client basis.
Candidate Profile:
- GMC registration and relevant specialist accreditation
- Strong understanding of Clinical Governance
- Successful DBS check, funded by Ticehurst House
