Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Oaklands Global is currently recruiting a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a leading MRO client based in Manchester, Birmingham & Newquay.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for managing aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with Part standards and delivering high-quality service. You will lead a team to meet tight schedules while maintaining technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft, adhering to Part standards.
  • Certify specific aircraft types and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and supervise aircraft mechanics and support staff to uphold high maintenance standards.
  • Manage and deliver maintenance tasks on schedule in collaboration with the Check Manager.
  • Ensure timely and efficient aircraft maintenance for customer satisfaction and on-time performance.
  • Monitor progress, tackle issues, and provide solutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain safety standards, assist with audits, and contribute to team development.

Requirements

  • Part 66 Licence (B1) with CAA License for / (Birmingham) and A/A/ (Manchester).
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a technician.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
