Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled professional to drive business growth and establish us as a key player within the UK education and skills ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with Further Education Colleges, employers, and government agencies to position our courses effectively and achieve our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on local market trends, skills requirements, and economic drivers to inform business development strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Further Education Colleges, Institutes of Technology, Combined Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, and Local Enterprise Partnerships to foster partnerships and promote our offerings.
  • Business Development: Develop and expand partnerships with Further Education Colleges, delivering our Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications, bootcamps, and future products that meet local market demands.
  • Corporate Sales: Engage with local employers to promote our short-form courses and part-time bootcamps as solutions to their workforce development needs, leveraging our Ofsted-approved status.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with key stakeholders to support regional skills strategies and economic development plans, positioning Trust In SODA as a thought leader in the education and skills training sector.
  • Product Positioning: Tailor our offerings to meet local market demands, highlighting the benefits of our Ofsted-approved status and expertise in the education and skills sector.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Trust In SODA at industry events, webinars, and on social media, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership in the education and skills training sector.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in business development within the education, training, or skills sector, with a track record of success in driving business growth and establishing partnerships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of the UK's Further Education sector, skills funding, and regional economic development, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strategic Thinking: Showcase strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align business objectives with market opportunities and drive growth.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within the territory.
