An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled finance professional to join the Finance Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a permanent role that will see you work across the finance function, supporting Corporate Services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic finance expert who will play a key role in shaping what our service delivery looks like, making a difference in the challenging financial environment, both now and in the future.

The successful candidate will be able to provide comprehensive financial advice and support managers to understand the efficiency and effectiveness of resources within their control. They will need to be persuasive when dealing with conflicting priorities and ensure that financial opportunities and risks are quantified and understood at all levels of the Trust, and optimum value for money is achieved.

Main Duties
  • Provide financial business advice and information in support of the Director, General Management, and Budget Holders.
  • Manage and develop finance staff on a day-to-day basis and deputise for the Deputy Head of Finance when required.
  • Act as finance lead on a range of projects and business tenders.

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
