We are seeking a skilled Theatre Assistant to join our team in Melksham. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an operating theatre, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. About the Job
As a Theatre Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing theatres for minor operations, assisting doctors during procedures, maintaining accurate records, cleaning down theatres and equipment, conducting stock checks, and providing administrative support. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training programs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
• Previous experience within an operating theatre
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to absorb and convey complex technical information
• Adaptable approach with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Confidence and professionalism, with excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated confidentiality, integrity, and discretion
