Job Summary

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager in the Genomics division at Tecan. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the development of the Genomics product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in business development and sales
  • Strong knowledge of the genomics industry and market trends
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and strategic partners
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with virtual teams
  • Experience with laboratory automation and instrumentation is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field

Requirements

  • Genomics and NGS expertise
  • Marketing experience in the life science sector
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing and business development methods
  • Commercial acumen and ability to work to budget
  • Excellent understanding of the Genomics and NGS sales/sales support and marketing process
