Cranstoun is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Domestic Abuse Specialist to join our team. As an Independent Domestic Violence Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to survivors of domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Harrow Domestic Abuse team to design and implement individual intervention plans to address identified needs and risks.
  • Provide one-to-one support to survivors, either face-to-face or online, to improve their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop safety plans and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviors.
  • Conduct enhanced DBS checks and participate in vetting processes as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in working with survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-agency framework and collaborate with external agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the impact of abusive behaviors and the importance of safety planning.
