Job Title: Store Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Select Fashion. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and stock management.
- Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, including visual merchandising and housekeeping.
- Manage the store's budget and ensure financial targets are met.
Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Customer Service:
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their shopping experience.
- Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and fairly.
Security and Loss Prevention:
- Ensure the store's security and loss prevention procedures are followed at all times.
- Monitor and control stock levels to prevent loss and ensure accurate stock counts.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard of health and safety, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Report any health and safety incidents or concerns to the relevant authorities.
Training and Development:
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to improve store performance.
Expected Standards:
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
