As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in the continuous improvement of our Assembly facility and the delivery of vehicle programmes from original concept and design, through to manufacturing feasibility and into current production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facility & Tooling requirements
- Layout Planning
- Facilitating and participating in improvement projects and value stream groups involving multiple stakeholders across the business functions.
You will attend various shopfloor performance reviews to build loss/defect intelligence and set priorities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ownership of focused improvement processes, driving down losses in the plant, and data analysis and planning of key improvements for critical measures such as build efficiency, waste, and process risk optimisation.
Requirements include a Manufacturing Engineer or similar from an Automotive or Aerospace background with previous experience related to VCATS.
