Job Title: Multiskilled Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of vehicle repairs, including mechanical, electrical, and bodywork tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicle systems, ensuring efficient identification of issues.
  • Conduct panel repairs and replacements, as well as paint preparation and refinishing.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standard and within agreed time frames.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by keeping customers informed of repair progress when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Technician from an accident repair background, with expertise in both mechanical and bodywork repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics tools, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to perform panel repairs, welding, as well as prepping and painting tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
