Steer Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Damage Assessor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and compile detailed reports using industry-standard methods.
  • Prepare precise estimates for repair costs, considering parts, labour, and materials.
  • Communicate findings and repair plans to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to ensure all documentation and claims are processed efficiently.
  • Ensure all assessments and repairs comply with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software (e.g. Audatex).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. IMI Accreditation) are highly desirable.
