Senior Acoustic Consultant

Competitive salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, plus benefits.

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join a renowned employee-owned acoustics consultancy. This role involves working on UK and international projects, from small-scale to very large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct noise modeling work using software such as CadnaA & ODEON.
  • Carry out environmental noise assessments and surveys.
  • Undertake building acoustics and sound insulation testing.
  • Prepare and complete technical reports.
  • Liaise with clients regarding project requirements and site visits.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Acoustics degree or similar qualification.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the education sector.
  • A full UK driving license is essential for this position.
  • Familiarity with British standards such as BB93.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA).
