Support Professional for Early Years

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Support Professional to join our team at Oakfield House School, a renowned primary school for autistic pupils and those associated with Autism/Learning or Complex Communication and Behaviour needs.
As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the educational and personal development of our pupils, who require additional support due to their complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting pupils with their educational and personal needs, including preparation of learning materials and running classroom activities.
- Managing daily schedules, including activities, toilet breaks, lunch, and rest time, to ensure the well-being and safety of our pupils.
- Providing emotional and physical support to our pupils, including feeding, toilet training, and changing, as required.
- Ensuring the education environment is safe, accessible, and conducive to learning, adhering to high standards of hygiene and health and safety protocols.
- Fostering pupil growth, self-esteem, and independence through supportive guidance and encouragement.
Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and grade C or above in English or equivalent.
