About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Planner to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your expertise, and contribute to the success of our Architectural & Planning Consultancy.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, conducting site visits and attending client meetings as necessary.
  • Research and appraise development potential, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage planning submissions, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely completion.
  • Represent clients and prepare advocacy reports for the Local Plan system.
Requirements and Benefits

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field, such as Urban Planning or Geography.
  • Chartered membership (MRTPI) or working towards it, demonstrating your knowledge of planning principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in a consultancy or local authority setting, with a strong understanding of planning laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research skills and experience with planning appraisals, able to produce high-quality reports and present findings effectively.

  • A salary ranging from £30,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
