Role Overview

MUFG Americas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Securitisation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Securitised Products and Supply Chain Finance group, you will be responsible for supporting and/or leading the execution of securitisation, inventory finance, and receivables financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and/or lead the execution of transactions, including diversified pool securitisation, accounts receivable purchase schemes, and inventory finance, with a focus on trade receivables transactions for portfolio companies of our sponsor clients.
  • Analyse and produce structural risk memoranda and reports, review legal documentation, perform cash flow modelling, undertake due diligence on transactions, and manage client relationships.
  • Lead or support SP&SCF deal closing processes and liaise with clients at a counterpart level to relay specific information and respond to routine queries.
  • Assist with the development of knowledge of junior team members and other MUFG staff, and support Group Head in terms of business planning, strategic development of new business, and new products.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge base of regulatory issues relating to securitisation and developments in the securitisation market, and build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information, and help ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree Level educated or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 2-3 year track record of working on securitisation transactions in EMEA in a structuring / execution capacity.
  • Experience of securitisation, structured finance, or working capital finance, with a legal, accounting, or credit background desirable.
  • Complex problem solving skills, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills, as well as interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and skill working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, and fluency in German, French, Spanish (and other European languages) desirable but not essential.
