Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef de Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, excellent knife skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to a high standard.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Train and mentor junior sushi chefs to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or sushi bar.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle sushi knives safely.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Good English language communication skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes, and standards.
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team.
