Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Learning Disability Service in Enfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions for adults with learning disabilities, working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Main Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and advice to other professionals.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice, through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and in-patient settings.
  • Experience of work with people with significant learning disabilities in community and in-patient settings.
