Young People's Support Worker

Contract Type: Full-time (average 37.5 hours per week)
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Young People's Support Worker to join our team, working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive environment that fosters growth and development.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children/young people. Relevant qualifications, such as a GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, are essential. You should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage challenging situations.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing one-to-one support and guidance to young people.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with young people, families, and other professionals.
- Participating in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of individualised care plans and goals.
This role involves shift work, including weekends and sleep-ins. We offer a range of benefits, including casual dress, employee discount, and 30 days holiday per year.
