
Dietitian for Inpatient Services

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic and supportive team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Foundation Teaching Hospital. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to providing exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Main Duties- Manage a caseload across various specialties, including neurology, general surgery, and respiratory medicine, developing expertise in nutritional support.
- Undertake nutritional assessments, dietary analyses, and calculate nutritional requirements for referred patients, taking into account their medical, social, and cultural factors.
- Provide evidence-based nutrition and dietary advice to patients, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
