About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Priory Hospital Bristol. As a specialist in neurological disorders and communication difficulties, you will provide highly specialized assessment and therapy for dysphagia and communication impairments to a wide range of adult clients with mental health diagnoses and complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex caseload of patients autonomously with appropriate clinical and managerial supervision
  • Carry out assessment, treatment, and outcome measurement of communication for people with complex mental health and/or neurological impairments
  • Develop individualized goals and treatment programs alongside providing specialist Speech and Language Therapy advice to the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Work with people and their families to ensure goals are co-produced and client-centered while managing their expectations as appropriate

Requirements

  • Degree and License to Practice from the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
  • Current AHP with UK HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
  • Evidence of competence in managing dysphagic patients
