Job Title: Structural Engineer - Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead in our Bristol office. As a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for carrying out structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties
  • Work as Technical Lead on projects, preparing high-quality technical reports and due diligence structural surveys
  • Undertake analysis and design using hand calculations and software packages, including CSC Fastrak, Tekla, and Building Designer
  • Liaise with and lead other members of the design team to achieve a coordinated design solution

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years UK industry experience
  • Experience in all common forms of construction, material, and building types
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills
  • Chartered or near Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE) beneficial
