We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care and support to young people with complex needs, including those with life-limiting genetic conditions and epilepsy.
- Work collaboratively with the client, family, and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Administer medication, perform medical procedures, and provide emotional support as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience as a Paediatric Nurse.
- Proven experience working with children with complex needs, including those with life-limiting genetic conditions and epilepsy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the client and the organization.
