About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Product Manager to join our Corporate Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering vital government systems and ensuring the effective management of the Oracle Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development Roadmap: Ensure a deep understanding of the product development roadmap and the specific changes coming with each release.
  • Impact Analysis: Conduct an initial impact analysis of the planned changes and coordinate feedback from business experts.
  • Upgrade Process: Build a repeatable 'upgrade' process that is iteratively developed, improved, and optimized quarter by quarter.
  • Platform Training: Assist with the development and maintenance of platform training content in partnership with Directorates and support the ongoing use of Oracle Guided Learning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Perform regular review sessions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the HR, Finance, and purchasing platform and channel such ideas into the right process.
  • Change Management: Work with Digital & 3rd party suppliers to coordinate testing, deployment, and other changes.
  • Super User Network: Assist with facilitating a super user network where experts, their ideas, and challenges are brought together to feedback to suppliers.
  • Test Scripts: Manage and develop a bank of test scripts and automated testing regimes in partnership with Digital and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Change Impact Assessment: Help assess the impact of change and play a key role in developing change plans and comms strategies.
  • Architecture Planning: Be central to planning and deciding how/when to change any component in the end-to-end architecture to assess impact and change control.
  • Enhancement Management: Consider the training and enhancement management requirements of the product and maintain a backlog and schedule of enhancements for Oracle Cloud.
