About the Role

This is a 3 to 6 month assignment in London, where you will work with a financial institution to analyze and interpret complex data sets using VBA and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Profiling data and drawing substantive conclusions in response to business questions
  • Communicating findings through clear documentation and verbal communication to both business and IT users
  • Developing and defining knowledge of VBA and PL/SQL, with a focus on data profiling and discovery
  • Experience in functional and data testing, as well as data modeling concepts and data flow diagrams
  • Strong team player with a focus on quality, attention to detail, and excellent communication and written skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Financial sector
  • Strong VBA and SQL skills, with a focus on data profiling and discovery
  • Development and definitional knowledge of VBA and PL/SQL, with a focus on ETL concepts
  • Experience in functional and data testing, as well as data modeling concepts and data flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of financial markets, ratings, and financial data
