Business Analyst with SQL Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in Altera/Allscripts to join our dynamic healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Altera/Allscripts healthcare platform and its applications, with experience in analysing, implementing, and optimizing clinical and business workflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather and document business requirements related to clinical and operational workflows, ensuring alignment with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
- Analyse and map the functionality of Altera/Allscripts solutions to business needs and recommend appropriate enhancements or configurations.
- Perform gap analysis and assess system functionalities to meet user requirements.
- Lead and support the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of Altera/Allscripts applications, including EMR, EHR, and other healthcare solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget.
- Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, clinical users, IT teams, and software vendors to facilitate clear communication and address system-related needs or challenges.
- Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades, patches, or new implementations.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide user training on Altera/Allscripts applications and related processes.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role, with a focus on Altera/Allscripts solutions.
- Proven track record of system analysis, project management, and system optimization in a healthcare environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Altera/Allscripts applications and modules, including system configuration and customization.
- Experience with SQL, data analytics, and reporting tools is a plus.
