Distribution Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Distribution Manager to join our team at BoConcept. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of our high-end furniture to our customers across London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement processes to improve the delivery journey, driving excellence in the booking and delivery experience for customers and our technicians.
- Track and report performance, identifying opportunities for cost-effective improvements in routing, planning, and achieving relevant KPIs.
- Manage Distribution and Logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination with our stores, departments, and global partners.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, working cross-functionally with colleagues throughout our organization.
- Coach and develop the Distribution team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Focus on the continuous improvement of our delivery service through development of staff, procedures, and technology.
- Demonstrate exemplary brand and product advocacy, embodying the values and ideals of BoConcept.
- Previous experience in a Logistics management role, or operational management and leadership.
- Commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of analytics and experience in driving business KPIs, staff planning, and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated experience in leading team discussions on performance improvement and/or performance management.
- Passion for supporting, connecting, and communicating with challenging customers and achieving positive resolutions.
- Relationship management skills, with experience working with multiple Managers and Departments, navigating complex information to find solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve, influence, and make considered decisions.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize, with experience using systems and processes to improve efficiencies.
- Experience with Distribution management systems and databases (preferred but not essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong sense of initiative and a positive proactive nature, with a respect for the ideals of BoConcept.
