The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to our Financial Crime Team in preventing, deterring, identifying, and investigating money laundering activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing investigations related to anti-money laundering (AML) activities, including PEP, Sanction & Adverse Screening, Transaction Monitoring Exceptions, and Suspicious Activity Referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate AML activities and complete reports as required;
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and external parties to facilitate information sharing and collaboration;
  • Maintain accurate records of all Financial Crime investigations and provide data/information for regular management information (MI);
  • Represent Financial Crime in discussions throughout the business and enhance the reputation of the department;
  • Identify AML risk areas and recommend improvements to procedures, training, systems, and MI to improve money laundering prevention.

  • Workable knowledge of Sira and office applications;
  • Suspicious Activity Investigations / Reporting;
  • Transaction / Account Monitoring;
  • Tact and diplomacy;
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information discreetly;
  • Highest levels of honesty, integrity, and accuracy.
