**Job Summary**

Botanic Gardens Conservation International is seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to support the roll-out and implementation of the Global Biodiversity Standard. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and promotion of a global standard for biodiversity conservation.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the development and testing of the Global Biodiversity Standard
  • Collaborate with international partners to promote the Standard
  • Provide technical assistance to countries and organizations implementing the Standard
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and resources
  • Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of the Standard's effectiveness

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. conservation biology, ecology, environmental science)
  • Proven experience in biodiversity conservation and project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
