Main Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer at MacGregor, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their ships and fleets are running smoothly and efficiently. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Supervising and performing service activities, such as refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, and preventative maintenance on MacGregor and equivalent equipment.
  • Providing information and presenting reports as required to internal and external customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Enabling feedback from customers and the service market in general to reach the appropriate MacGregor organisation.
  • Staying up to date with relevant developments, routines, processes, and news within MacGregor major customers active in business area.
  • Cooperating with the local MacGregor service network.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Engineering Graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience and/or education in the Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Marine, Military, or heavy engineering Industry.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Cooperativeness, technical skills, and customer orientation.
  • Ability to travel both domestic and internationally when needed.
  • Proficient in English, with written and verbal communication skills.
