We are seeking an experienced and skilled Area Counsellor Specialist/Psychotherapist/Psychological Therapist to join our team as a Senior Counselling Supervisor. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing leadership and supervision to our volunteer counsellors and other less experienced psychological professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and professional oversight to volunteer counsellors, trainees, students, and other less experienced psychological professionals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based talking therapy interventions and care packages.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to improve our psychological therapies provision.
  • Lead on service development and innovation, ensuring a responsive, dynamic, and flexible service to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Accredited postgraduate qualification in counselling or psychotherapy.
  • Experience in providing talking therapy assessments and treatment of people with a range of psychological problems.
  • Experience of providing supervision, training, and/or consultation to other professional/non-professional groups.
  • Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs and digital meeting platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in different settings.
