About the Role

At B&M Retail, we're seeking a strong Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Camberley, Surrey. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who role models the B&M way of working to their team. As a key member of the store management team, you'll support in delivering exceptional store standards and contribute to maximising the performance of the store. Your role will be to drive the store's operations, working closely with the Store Manager and supporting with all aspects of the business from stock to recruitment.

Responsibilities

As a Deputy Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the daily management of the store, including leading and developing your team to achieve outstanding results. You'll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times. Your role will also involve supporting the Store Manager in key projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the store. You'll be a true leader, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve their best. You'll be responsible for maintaining excellent store standards, consistently delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving compliance in the store.

Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with extensive management experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment. You'll have a proven track record of successfully managing medium to large-sized teams, with a focus on delivering KPIs. You'll be flexible and able to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays. Experience within an FMCG or big box environment is desirable but not essential.
