Community Safety Officer

Policing is a career that requires courage, teamwork and compassion to make a real difference in people's lives. As a Community Safety Officer with Hampshire County Council, you will work closely with regular officers to police local communities. You will be given proper training for the role and gain a thorough grounding in many aspects of police work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep town centres safe at night
- Conduct house-to-house enquiries
- Help prevent vulnerable members of the community from becoming victims of crime
- Patrol in crime hotspots
- Take part in crime-prevention initiatives
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Requirements:
You must pass a fitness test which will be repeated annually.
