Job Description
We are looking for skilled midwives who can work autonomously within NMC, Trust & Directorate Policies and Guidelines to provide specialist expertise to women in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period. Key responsibilities include developing individualised care plans, ensuring evidence-based practice and advocating for women and protecting children within the hospital/community setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Registered Midwife with completion of Preceptorship Programme or equivalent experience, meeting NMC requirements for practice supervisor/assessor. Essential skills include experience as a midwife leading to autonomous practice, competent delivery of evidence-based practice, broad knowledge of current midwifery issues and ability to work within acute and primary healthcare settings.
