Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join our commercial legal team at Luton Borough Council. As a Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will provide expert advice and representation to the Council in all areas of Contracts and Procurement law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive professional legal advice to various council departments on complex commercial matters, procurement, and bespoke commercial arrangements.
  • Manage a portfolio of cases, including acting as legal advisor to client organizations, drafting contracts, and leading significant procurements.
  • Develop your specialism with the support of an experienced team and like-minded professionals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, barrister, or FCILEx with 6 years+ PQE.
  • Commercial background and experience in Contracts and Procurement law.
