About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Technologist to join our Prototyping Team at the Liz Earle Beauty Co. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of scientists and formulators to develop innovative skincare products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate skincare prototypes that meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement scientific solutions to complex problems, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines and technical risks to ensure successful delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with research and product delivery colleagues, as well as manufacturing partners and raw material suppliers.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in cosmetic formulation, preferably in skincare.
  • Strong technical accuracy and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sound scientific thinking and methodology.
Desirable Skills
  • Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific degree.
  • Completion of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists Diploma in Cosmetic Science.
  • Experience of patent searching.
  • Awareness of Cosmetics Regulatory landscape.
