Junior NPD Technologist
Are you looking to kick start a career in new product development? We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior NPD Technologist to join our team. As a Junior NPD Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting the development and launch of game changing new products.
This will be an extremely varied role, where no two days will be the same. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of product development, where we are starting from the ground up. You will certainly develop all the skills required for a successful career in NPD.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the food industry and is eager to contribute to the creation of truly innovative products with a massive opportunity for growth.
Your responsibilities as Junior NPD technologist will include:
- Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis to inform product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, procurement, and production, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Contribute to the formulation of new product recipes, considering factors such as ingredient functionality, cost, and nutritional requirements.
- Conduct product testing and evaluation, including sensory analysis, shelf-life testing, and nutrition.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of accurate product specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in coordinating and documenting product trials, both in-house and with external suppliers or manufacturers.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies to support innovative product development.
- Support the team in resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise during the product development process.

What we are looking for in our Junior NPD technologist:

- A passion for food and dogs.
- Experience working with food and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food, nutrition, and product development.
- Proficiency in MS and google software such as MS excel and Google sheets.
- This is a hands-on role so a can-do attitude is a must.

Ideal for:
- 1-2 years’ experience in food manufacturing.
