At Muller Dairy, we are seeking a skilled Sales Finance Business Partner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to act as a key commercial business partner supporting the Sales Financial Controller in business partnering the Commercial team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial and commercial decision support and insight to drive the business forward in sales areas.
- Manage Customers P&Ls.
- Evaluate and develop individual customer business plans.
- Contribute to the Sales business review process.
- Support the monthly promotional management process.
- Review pre- and post-promo evaluation results.
- Resolve debt issues.
- Address day-to-day queries from key contacts.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis.
- Collaborate on Joint Business Plans, attending external customer meetings.
- Ensure GO compliance by verifying financial commitments align with company policy.
- Build strong relationships across commercial teams to influence decision-making.
- Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced commercial environment while exercising pragmatic judgment.
- Take a holistic view of the commercial sphere.
- Support M cycle processes working closely with Sales Controller and teams.
- Attend Sales Business reviews and pre-meetings, providing analysis to inform presentations.
- Analyze risk and opportunities, reviewing commercial forecasts.
- Analyze monthly financial forecasts to identify key changes by customer and brand, explaining variances vs previous forecast, budget, and prior year result.
- Review YTD and YTG full-year sales forecast and associated CM with the commercial team, ensuring plans meet annual targets.
- Reconcile customer NSV.
- Analyze performance vs forecast & prior year.
- Prepare required journal postings.
- Month End Day 5/6/7 preparation and reporting.
- Comment on key drivers of performance for the customer base.
- Lead the commercial teams through the commercial budgeting process, ensuring robust plans meet top-down targets.
Requirements:
- Recognised Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Ability to manage a wide-ranging stakeholder base
- Able to work to tight deadlines with agility and proficiency
- Time Management
- Willingness to drive change and process improvements
- Advice and support of strategic changes affecting sales and wider business
- Ability to provide decision support & challenge to the commercial teams
