Job Title: Physical Activity Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Physical Activity Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of staff, you will play a pivotal role in promoting physical well-being and encouraging students to develop their confidence and interest in sports.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to coordinate and manage a wide range of sports activities throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver PE and sports lessons to small groups of students, ensuring an inclusive and active environment for all students.
  • Organize and oversee sports activities, including swimming and dance therapy, as part of the school's curriculum.
  • Coordinate sporting events during lunchtimes and encourage active participation.
  • Develop relationships with the community to promote inclusive sports and physical activities.
  • Foster both competitive and non-competitive sports engagement, encouraging students' participation in events like sports day and the panathlon.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of sports equipment, reporting any issues and keeping detailed records.
  • Provide additional classroom and lunchtime support as needed, and assist with school trips and events.

Salary Information: £120,000 per annum (based on 25 days of work per week)
