Job Title: Apprenticeship Skills Tutor - Fabrication & Welding

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to join our team at Morgan Jones Limited. As an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting apprentices in achieving their qualifications and developing their skills in fabrication and welding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support apprentices in achieving their qualifications and developing their skills in fabrication and welding
  • Conduct regular tripartite reviews with apprentices and their line managers
  • Develop individual learning plans and assist with functional skills and qualification preparation
  • Work with curriculum colleagues and employers to monitor learner progress and agree on targets

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher
  • Possess an A1/V1 Assessors Award (or equivalent)
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Current teaching qualification
  • IQA Award is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
