Regional Health and Safety Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Health and Safety Partner to join our team at Irwin & Colton. As a leading specialist Health and Safety recruitment company, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and candidates.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing subject-matter expertise, leadership, and coaching to build safety and health capability across the site. This will involve ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation and in line with the overall UK strategy for Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical guidance and support to site staff on health and safety matters
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to assess health and safety performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies
  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
  • Providing training and coaching to site staff on health and safety best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a related logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards) and Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body
  • Strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
