We are seeking a skilled Area Leader to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe, where you will play a key role in shaping and structuring your department.

As an Area Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and smooth running of your area, ensuring that capacity, efficiency, yields, and quality meet market demand and growth targets.

You will lead a team and support the coordination of workflow between departments, monitoring and improving processes as required, to ensure on-time delivery, exceptional quality levels, and customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering KPIs, providing actions, and evidencing results
  • Meeting and exceeding customer requirements in terms of Quality, Food Safety, Cost, and Delivery
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes and quality
  • Challenging, mentoring, and coaching people
  • Actively promoting and delivering improved health and safety behaviors and environmental awareness

In this role, you will work well under pressure, anticipate and identify challenges, and own them through to conclusion. You will also demonstrate strong team building and people management skills.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
  • Food Safety L3 Certificate
  • HACCP L2 Certificate
