Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic archaeologist to join our team as a GIS Officer. This is a full-time, permanent position with outstanding benefits in a long-established CI Registered Organisation with job security in a thriving local authority unit.

About Us
Warwickshire County Council's Archaeology Warwickshire team has been providing commercial archaeology and heritage services since the 1980s. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of commercial projects from inception to publication, taking initiative to problem-solve and championing their team's well-being on site. They will also support junior staff, provide advice in accurate spoken English, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in archaeology or a related discipline
- Proven experience in working collaboratively, DBA writing, clear and concise report writing, and a fundamental interest in discussive synthesis
- Experience of working on a wide range of archaeological projects and site types
- A working knowledge of GPS, GIS, and potentially total stations and photogrammetry
- Current UK driving license and unequivocal willingness and competency to drive for business needs
