Job Details

A leading music education institution in central London is seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to fill a temporary Music Coordinator role. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to the smooth operation of the Music Department and help organize events in iconic venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Music Department, handling inquiries from visitors, staff, and students.

• Ensure the efficient running of the Music Department, supporting teachers with administration, timetabling, lost property, music locker allocation, departmental inventory, maintenance requests, and general tidiness.

• Coordinate practice rooms, ensuring equipment is stored correctly and required equipment is present.

• Manage and update physical and online departmental resources.

• Order and distribute sheet music, stationery, and consumables.

• Handle room bookings and allocations administration regularly.

• Maintain the Music Library with stock and lending records.

• Support relevant projects with associated school music divisions.

• Market Music Department events, producing marketing materials and disseminating across social media and other channels.

• Assist with ticket distribution for external events and email communications with briefings.

• Support events as stage management or front of house.

• Assist staff with coordination of outings to concerts and attend with the cohort when needed.

Requirements:

• Willingness to attend music concerts outside normal office hours.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work well within a team.
