Key Responsibilities- Ensure production areas are always clean and presentable, adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Implement and maintain 'clean as you go' policies, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production process.
- Lead by example, demonstrating high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all aspects of your work.
- Support the Production Manager in maintaining health and safety requirements, implementing the site hygiene policy, and setting a positive, safe environment for colleagues.
- Allocate tasks to other hygiene team members, ensuring duties are completed to a high standard in accordance with procedures and policies.
- Complete associated paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, follow, and cascade instructions.
- Valid COSHH certification, with the ability to handle and use appropriate chemicals safely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
- Good powers of concentration and observation, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a repetitive task environment.
